I was walking home from work,I hated having such pale skin in california....its so noticable

i was moving to cali from england. i wanted some independece. i wanted to write books in america. i want to see what it like to live there too..

I was walking with my arms close to me i felt really out of place.Why did my oarents choose to move here? i was fine in England! i moved my light brown hair out of my face. i could see my new house just down the street.

i also came to see if i could find my soulmate.....for her to be my muse.....i was walking to my house...the house my parents bought.

I guess i was lucky i Had already Graduated Highschool,so i wasnt gonna miss any friends,But i wanted to Attend University in Europe!

i had graduated from high school. i was kinda a loner in high school. so i didnt really have any friends to miss. i was going to local collgeg and then wandering around cali. looking around for inspiration

I was almost home but i ddecided to go to the par across the street,Not home,not just yet. I sat on a bench just staring at the empty swings.

i went to the park that was like 100 feet from my lonely house. i headed for the swings.

I saw some random guy,that i havent seen before going to the swings.He was way too old to be playing in the park. I thought as i Smiled.

im 19 and a half.....and id never had a girlfriend....i sat down on a free swing...

I decided to walk over to the boy on the swings...."uhm" i just said "Are you okay in the head?" I knew my British Accent would surprise him but who cares.

i looked up. i had a british accent."Its good to hear another british accent. Yes im fine in the head. im just looking around for inspiration so i can publish another book...."

"Whoa! Your British! What are the odds?" i said standing back a little. "And you write?" i said raisong my eyebrow.

"Yes, i do Miss." she was pretty....no she was beautiful...."My name is Edward Peterson. i write Fantasy novels."

I held out my hand,He looked about 19 the same age as me,So young to be an Author. "Emily Rushton." I said politely."An Author at such a young age?" i said

"Ill be 20 in 6 months. so not really. ive even read a book published by a 13 year old before."

"Well i'm not much of a reader.."I said.

"Oh." i said. "Its ok...i moved her...my mum and dad bought me a house here..."

I saw two people talking in the distance as I was scetching on the pan in fornt of me. they can't get mad i thought to myself they stepped into my veiw.

"i moved out here with my Parents. They are Stck brokers, Both of them!" i said widening my eyes.

"My parents are authors....they travel a lot."

I kept sketching, next was for the colour to be added.

I laughed "we're almost complete oppisites!"

"Almost?"

I began using some watercolors to paint the scetched art i had drawn.
